QHacks 2018 is back for another year of collaboration, ideation, and creativity! More than 500 students from across North America will come together on February 2nd-4th for a weekend of awesome hacking. Attend workshops, play with hardware, take part in hacker challenges, and meet some new friends while turning your dreams into reality. Out-of-the-box thinkers, creatives, and innovators from all faculties and skill levels are encouraged to apply. We can't wait to see you there!

Eligibility

Any college or university student at any skill level! All you need is a passion for design/data/tech, and a willingness to learn! We welcome applicants from all fields of study.

 

Unfortunately we cannot accept any high school students to our event as result of liability issues within our school. We are sorry if this disappoints anyone but we encourage you to apply when you done high school.

    What type of technical challenges did the group deal with?
  • Uniqueness
    Is the project a unique, breakthrough, or innovative idea that pushes beyond the problem to be solved?
  • Design
    Does the output possess remarkable, clean overall design that engages users? Is the user interface efficient and easy to use?
  • Practicality
    How useful is this demo based on the problem they are trying to solve?
  • Wow Factor
    Are you blown away by what you see?
  • Note:
    The potential for your hack to become a company/startup will receive no special consideration. You are not allowed to use a powerpoint/slides during judging; you must do a live demo of what you made.
